Hi! My name is Addison, and I joined the Hikmah Foundation in 2023. I was inclined to join this foundation because I really enjoy helping others. Watching the Hikmah documentary really opened my eyes to what some of these refugees have to go through. It made me want to provide a judgment-free zone where these individuals can learn and be themselves. I believe the Hikmah Foundation has done some truly remarkable things for these refugees, and I can’t wait to tutor each week. It’s very rewarding to help others with their education. I would encourage others to join this foundation because it gives you a chance to learn more about other cultures. Also, it’s a great way to give back to the community.
