When I first heard about the Hikmah Foundation, I immediately knew I wanted to join. Everything about it was appealing to me, so I attended the first meeting to learn more about it. After getting all of the information, I knew I wanted to associate myself with this organization and be committed to it. Seeing what these refugees had to go through and what they are still going through today was the first thing that encouraged me to join, because no one should have to go through that. Helping and teaching refugees would make an enormous difference in their lives, which is the reason I joined. Outside of school and this organization, I am always reading or going on walks with my mom. This influential group is making such a big difference in our community, which is why I encourage anyone to join and help.
