About Annabelle
I started teaching with the Hikmah Foundation because I really enjoy learning and helping others reach their full potential. Growing up, some of my favorite memories involved school and the friends I made through my educational experiences. I love problem-solving and persevering through challenges, and want to help my students do the same. Learning a new language and acclimating to a new environment is incredibly difficult as a refugee, so I want to help all the students I work with feel comfortable learning and asking questions. One of my favorite parts of teaching is working with students to figure out how they learn and watching them succeed. I love seeing the joy of a student understanding a new idea or remembering an old concept.
