I started teaching with the Hikmah Foundation because I really wanted to help children in conflict get the support they need. I believe that every child deserves resources to aid them in getting a successful education. My favorite part about teaching is the connections I am able to build with students. Another one of my favorite parts is the gratification I get from being able to help others and see the students improve and grow. I would really encourage people to join as it is a great experience, and meeting people from different backgrounds has allowed me to empathize with others. Also, the impact that you can make on someone else’s life can be extremely fulfilling!
