Megha Lomada

About Megha

I started teaching with The Hikmah Foundation because I couldn't ignore the challenges faced by these brave children. Witnessing their resilience and their thirst for knowledge, I knew I wanted to play a role in empowering them through education, as it is a powerful tool that can break barriers and pave the way for a brighter future. My favorite part of this experience has been witnessing the growth and transformation of the children I teach. Their enthusiasm and joy for learning make every moment worthwhile, and it reinforces my commitment to continue supporting them on their educational journey. I would encourage anyone and everyone to join this incredible mission. Becoming a tutor for young refugees can directly impact lives and create lasting change. Education has the potential to uplift not just individuals but entire communities, and being a part of that change is incredibly fulfilling. It’s important to come together and make a positive difference in the lives of these young learners.

Aside from tutoring, I enjoy playing tennis, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family!
