About Tili
I began tutoring with the Hikmah Foundation because of my love for teaching and helping others learn. Even more important to me, however, is the importance of the Foundation’s work in allowing children of refugee status to be given the proper tools and guidance to learn the skills they need to succeed. From my very first time tutoring, I began to enjoy the experience as I worked with kids who were engaged and excited to read, write, and learn. My favorite part of tutoring is seeing the moment a concept or lesson clicks for a kid and they understand and grow in a subject. I also love being able to interact on a personal basis and learn from others. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, reading, and spending time with friends and family. I would encourage anyone interested in teaching and helping others to join the Hikmah Foundation to not only make new friends and memories, but also to be a part of something that helps others in such an impactful way.
